Belgorod abrasive plant was built in 1966 as pilot production on development of release of a coated abrasives on the synthetic bindings. Since July, 1967 serially makes the basic production - coated abrasive in rolls.
1967 July - began a batch manufacturing of basic production - waterproof coated abrasives on a fabric base and synthetic bindings in rolls.
1969 - the first production on a site of products has been released . endless abrasive belts, abrasive bobbins, sheets, cones, wide belts for chip-board processing.
1977 - at plant has been mastered manufacture of a volume abrasive cloth on a non-woven base in the form of discs for processing of printed boards and a sponge "Effect" - a universal cleaner for household needs.
Since 1982 General director Safonov Anatoly Ivanovich leads the enterprise- the deserved mechanical engineer of Russia.
1987 - capacities for manufacture of flap wheels of various diameter are created.
On December, 23rd, 1992 the plant has got the status of open joint-stock company.
Since 1994 the plant has been successfully cooperating with German company "VSM". The result of this cooperation was the organization of release of fiber discs, wide abrasive belts with width of 1420 mm and segment abrasive belts with width of 2800 mm for chip-board, MDF, plywood processing. For this manufacture the German equipment has been bought, and the personnel was trained in company "VSM", Germany.
2001 - "Metis" company line on manufacture of endless abrasive belts is mounted.
2002 - the new line of Italian company IM&T on manufacture of coated abrasives with various kinds of bondings on different bases, including waterproof and non waterproof is mounted and started. From the Italian experts the know-how on release of coated abrasive has also been received.
2004 - assembly of company line «Brückner» (Germany) is finished and start-up of it on dressing of a fabric base is carried out. The given equipment allows to make preparation of fabric bases from natural and synthetic threads;;
- Start the installation of fabrics singeing "OSTHOF-SENGE" company (Germany) is carried out;
- The production technology of coated abrasives with open application of abrasive grain on paper, fabric and polyester bases is mounted..
2005 - the technology of preparation of a fabric base with the use of components "BASF" company (Germany) is developed;
- The equipment of "Peter Schawabe" company (Germany) for manufacture of sheets and sheet sets of coated abrasives of various standard sizes has been acquired;
- The automated warehouse of end products is placed in operation;
- The manufacturing techniques of abrasive sheets on a self-linked base of various standard sizes are mastered.
2006 - the equipment of "HELMUT WEISS" company (Germany) is acquired and manufacture of flap discs is mastered;
- New cutting press SANSON F1 EDI of "CHIESA ARTORIGE" company (Italy) for manufacture of grinding products of the various form is acquired;
- The line of lamination of coated abrasives of "BIKO" company (Italy) is introduced;
- The equipment for packing of all kinds of production of shop floor (production packing in a shrinkable film and in bucketboxes) is acquired..
2007 - manufacture of cotton polishing wheels for JSC "AUTOVAZ" is mastered;
- Release of flap wheels KL 400х60х44,5 is mastered; KL 200х40х44,5; KL 250х50х100; KL 400х100х127 (Type 2);
- The equipment of "BIKO" company (Italy) is acquired:
а) For manufacture of flap wheels with spindle;
б) Universally-cleanup line on manufacture of endless abrasive belts;
в) High-precision slitting machine;
- The equipment of "PAKVERK" plant (Russia) for packing of ware rolls and reels of coated abrasives in a shrinkable film is acquired and introduced;
- HAETIK applicator of "Helmut Weiss" company is acquired and introduced for application of labels on flap wheels.
2008 - the final part of a line of IM&T company on manufacture of coated abrasive is mounted.
- The universally-cleanup machine of "BIKO" company for manufacturing of narrow abrasive belts and preparation of joints of wide and segment abrasive belts is mounted and introduced in manufacture;
- The production technology of flap wheels with the hub is mastered;
- Laser installation YM-960 of "YueMing" company (China) is mounted and manufacturing of marking signs is mastered by a method of a laser engraving;
- Machine M.F.W is mounted and TECNO-MIX 2007 of "BIKO" company and manufacture of flap wheels with a spidle ia also mastered;
- "BIKO" companies installation on cooling, flexing and humidifying of coated abrasives is mounted and introduced.
