Purpose

Wide endless belts used for abrasive processing on wide-belts grinders as in woodworking industry for calibration operations, sanding and finishing of chip-board, fibreboard, MDF, plywood, furniture board and other materials, and in metallurgical industry.

Types of execution wide endless belts
Version 1

Single-seam belts, width is less or equal then width of coated abrasives.

Version 2

Abrasive endless belts wider than the width of coated abrasives. Such tapes are called segmented because they consist of segments using two or more joints.

about 50% of the backing surface is coated with abrasive grains.

Recommendations about safety use
Recommendations about safety use of endless abrasive belts GOST R 52588-2011
Belts are to be stored in warm and dry conditions. The indoor temperature should be 18-22°С, relative humidity 45-65%.
Before usage please check if the belt has any damages (holes, breaks etc.). Unused polishing tape stored in its original packaging.
After taking the belt out of package please put onto the bracket support of 50 mm diameter. In case the bracket support is too thin it may cause the break or some other damage of the belt.
If the abrasive belts glued overlap - pay attention to the arrows printed on the back (non-working) side. Install endless tape in the machine is necessary so that direction of rotation coincides with direction of the arrow.
At installation belts use special means to prevent damage to the edges of abrasive belt.
During work its neccessary to follow protective measures:
wear eye protection wear gloves
wear a respirator not permitted for wet grinding (depends on coated abrasives features and used tools)

Storage warranty period - 12 months from the production date.
Optimal room-temperature 18-22 °С.
Relative air humidity 45-65%
Do not store of endless abrasive belts on distance of 1 m from heaters, cold, damp walls, windows, doors, floor.
Forbidden to expose belts to direct exposure to sunlight.
